Mix Podcast Episode 009: July 1, 2009

Hey there! I only now realize that it has been much longer than I thought since I last released a podcast. I imagined it in my head as maybe only 3-4 weeks when actually it has nearly 2 months. Wow. In order to not allow that to happen again, the podcast will now be released the first and third Wednesday of every month. (The podcast will now also be released in 192kbps mp3 quality and average an hour long) That means that the episode following this one will be released on July 15th.

Mix number seven and definitely my favorite. Got a lot of unique tracks on it; some old, some new. I tried to bring a feel of summer to this mix as it is certainly impending. I think I’m gonna try to figure out a set schedule to release my podcast (not right now, but soon). It will probably end up being every other week, but if I feel like doing more I’ll definitely post them as well. This is my sixth mix and I am finally able to get back to a more normal length now that school is over. Also, I have a sort of goal now that I am home and getting some new equipment relatively soon. I am going to try updating at least once a week, hopefully more. This episode is all trance. Progressive, vocal, epic, etc. All great tracks.

Mix Podcast Episode 004: Progressive Minimix

Time for my fourth mix wooo! Actually this mix is a bit shorter than the others, so I’m calling it a minimix. Also important to know about this mix is it was mixed live by me instead of being arranged like the other ones. I think it gives it a much better feel overall. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this mix. It has both new and classic progressive trance and has a really relaxing sort of impending summer vibe.

New Podcast: February 2009

I’ve been messing around with mixing for awhile on my laptop and thought I would start posting some mixes as a podcast. I’m gonna shoot for once or twice a month. Expect the podcasts to mostly contain electronic, progressive, and trance music. I’m still new at this stuff so don’t go too harshly on me. I think I’ll get better the more I do it.
